The Bars in Denver’s Dive Scene

When you’re not in the mood for fancy drinks that cost you an arm and a leg, try hitting up one of the city’s best dive bars instead. Go solo or bring along a date, either way a good dive bar is a fun way to spend the evening. The Hill-Top Tavern is one famous spot. Not only does it have the customary cheap drinks and classic jukebox, but apparently Bill Murray likes to frequent the place. Or head to the Kentucky Inn for a friendly cast of regulars and some of the best bar food in the city. And if you prefer a spot where you can barely move, check out the aptly named Squeeze Inn. Get real close and personal with your barmate while tossing back a few drinks.
