Cat Café Coming to NYC?

They’ve been all the rage in Japan for some time now - cat cafes. Slowly but surely, the phenomenon has spread to other areas of the world. People from east to west can experience the sublime pleasures of hanging out with a horde of cats while they enjoy their coffee and scones. Now - late to the party, it seems - New York City will be getting its own permanent cat café.

The city was primed for this development earlier in the year when a pop-up cat café came to town. It was apparently so successful that it warranted a more stable position within the city. Better yet, all the feline residents will be rescue cats and all of them will be up for adoption, so if you find a new friend, you can take them home with you. A great way to help cats, make New Yorkers feel warm and fuzzy inside and make a little money in the process.
