#Washington Capitals goaltender, Braden Holtby, left the game Sunday against the #New_York Rangers with dehydration. He did not return to the game.

Many are calling for John Scott to still be included in the All Star game citing that Scott should be the #Arizona Coyotes’ representative, just as Sandis Ozolinsh still represented the #Florida Panthers after being traded to the #Anaheim Ducks in 2003, and Bernie Nicholls represented the #Los_Angeles Kings after being traded to the #New_York Rangers in 1990.

Andrew MacDonald signed a multi-year contract with the Flyers. The Flyers gave him a six-year deal worth $30 million. His salary with his former team, the #New_York Islanders, had been $434,359 in his final year of his deal with that team.

#Seattle Thunderbirds' left winger Ryan Gropp has signed a three-year entry level contract with the #New_York Rangers. Gropp was drafted by the Rangers in the 2015 draft, 2nd round 41st overall. Great job Ryan! He will be an exciting young player to watch.

Reply - InsideTheBoards - 1/3/16 2:16pm

Gropp is an interesting player to watch. I'm not sure he will be exactly what the Rangers are hoping but he may be good trade bait in a year or so.

The #Wild have claimed Jarret Stoll off waivers from the #New_York Rangers. The #Wild made a bid for Stoll this summer when he was a free agent so it was not surprising when he was put on waivers that he was grabbed by the #Wild.

Stuff the rotation, and the bullpen will take care of itself. How? Well, the Royals put Duffy and Wade Davis in their pen, because they couldn't pitch 200 innings in the bigs. Carson is dominant, but so is Wade Davis: mediocre starter throw in. A very sizable percentage of bullpen specialists are failed starters. Betances and Miller for #New_York - former and failed starters. Hultzen - failed starter.
