Yet one more institution in New York has fallen to corruption and this time it’s something that might really get your anger to rise. Nine day care centers have recently been accused of stealing taxpayer money, sometimes at the expense of children’s well-being. There have been cases of blatant health and safety violations, falsified hiring and even a center that wasn’t even open. Luckily, no children came to harm because of these scamming idiots. Still, it makes one wonder just how efficient government oversight is regarding funded day care centers and whether there is any proper oversight at all.
