NYC Event Watch - End of April

There’s way too much going on in NYC to know every little festival and event that wanders through. And thanks to me, you don’t have to! Here are a few upcoming and ongoing events that might be right up your alley.

Asian Pacific American Heritage Celebration – Asia Society New York – May 1st

It’s a celebration of all-things Asian Pacific American and the perfect way to get a huge taste of this culture in NYC. Listen to great music, see dance performances, see Asian art, shop for Asian arts and crafts, and, of course, munch down on a variety of delicious Asian-Pacific foods. For an all day event that will leave both your mind and your stomach happy, check it out.

Arbor FestQueensBotanical Garden – April 26th

This fun event celebrates the joys of Arbor Day while providing you with plenty of activities to keep you occupied. It’s a family-friendly event that offers up everything from face painting and pony rides to food vendors and a beer tent. So stop off solo, with a date or bring along the kids.
