For the perfect combination of an awesome beer selection and great Mexican and pub food, check out The Friendly Spot in San Antonio.  They boast an incredible count of nearly 250 beers to choose from, more than 75 on tap and make it a point to always have at least two-dozen Texas-made craft beers ready on the tap.  You can stop by on certain nights of the week to enjoy movie night or one of their other events.  And they even welcome dogs, so you can bring your best friend along with you if you think he needs a night out as well.  For a friendly place (hence the name) to drink and meet new people, check this place out.  Has anyone been to The Friendly Spot before?  How was your experience there?
