Breaking Down 2015

Get your popcorn ready....

They came, they tried, and they did conquor...we'll conquered many, but not all

Seattle started off as bad as they could in 2015. Many were injured in the off season. Chancellor held out much of that offseason, oh yeah, and some regular season while the defense struggled. The line could not block, and the newly acquired gem Jimmy G could not settle into the Seattle offense.

In between, Seattle got back to what they knew. Graham went down to injury and somehow the team got better. Beastmode began to pick up some speed in his absence, and the receivers were suddenly making plays too. The D played better as Kam got back in the mix, and towards the end of the season noone looked as good as Seattle.

The biggest improvement was Wilson though... His three game streak of amazing touchdown performances, and highlight reel 3 and 400 yard games really had the Hawks looking like the favorites.

Despite, it is hard to imagine they would lose to...what appears to be.. A mirror image of their former selves.

Cam and the Panthers have used an explosive running quarterback with an arm, ala Wilson. Along with a stingy defense, and some  swagger like that of the old Hawks. They dab, talk smack, and give away game balls to the crowd. Cam is as nice as Wilson with his passion and demeanor. He is a dual threat and team guy that makes those around him better. It seems as though riverboat Ron and the Panthers took the 12th man blueprint in the middle of the night from Petey C.

They have made quick work of the NFC west so far in the playoffs and now have only the Sheriff to get by for the ultimate prize.

Meanwhile, in the emerald city, the offensive line looks to pick up the pieces. They left the team in a tough hole, along with poor throws by Wilson, that ended up to be too much to comeback from. In true Russell fashion, he put the team on his back...rightfully so. We will never know how close the game could have been, but Wilson almost made good on his quest for the biggest playoff comeback shocker. Going into 2016 many questions remain. Stay tuned for some possible losses.. And gains heading into the new year.

Wonder if Jimmy Graham will pan out, but it starts with that line. Atleast a piece or 2 to get. Glad we have Wilson... But many will be lost this year
