Dinner, A Movie and More at Nitehawk Cinema in Brooklyn

If you're looking for a classic first date destination with a few original twists, Brooklyn's historic Nitehawk Cinema has exactly what you need. Part restaurant, part movie theater, their unique programming and extensive menu make this intimate theater a haven for movie buffs and foodies alike. The best part? You can easily take in all they have to offer without going broke.

Nitehawk specializes in table-side cocktails and entrees served during screenings of both premiere and revival films. They show everything from silent era gems to more contemporary titles like the Grand Budapest Hotel. If the prospect of enjoying good food while watching even better films isn't tempting enough, they also host a variety of themed monthly events like Film Feasts - wherein dishes inspired by the movie on screen are served during specific scenes - and Live Sound Cinema (which is something I personally believe everyone should experience at least once in their lives).

Movies showing throughout the month of January at Nitehawk include the 1978 version of Lord of the Rings, Groundhog Day, and Clue. Tickets range from around $10 to $15. It's best to get their at least forty five minutes prior to the film's scheduled start if you want to secure seats and catch their signature Pre-show.
