Fly Back to the 80s with Jessie's Girl

In Back to the Future II, Marty and Doc Brown travel forward in time to prevent Marty's son from making an epic mistake. The year? 2015. That's right... in just a few days, we'll be living in the future dreamed up by Bob Gale & Company (only without the hover boards and inside-out pants pockets). If you're feeling as nostalgic as I am on the brink of this very special new year, try getting your retro kicks by checking out Jessie's Girl's Back to the Eighties Show at La Poisson Rouge this Saturday night.

Jessie's Girl's line-up consists of Tony nominated performers, 80s icon impersonators, rising stars, and features random guest performances by a variety of celebrities from Brett Michaels to Tone Loc. A roster like that all but guarantees a truly high-quality tribute show. Even Neil Patrick Harris loves Jessie's Girl and can be seen rocking out on stage with them in their photo archives. Their song list is also bulging with everything from Video Killed the Radio Star to Pour Some Sugar on Me.

If you can't make it out this weekend, don't despair - not only does Jessie's Girl perform every Saturday night at La Poisson Rouge, they also have tons of shows all over the city. If you have someone special in your life who loves the 80s, suit up in your best pair of legwarmers, find your most painfully neon jacket, take them by the hand and head out to one of the single most radical things to do in New York. Tickets are a little steep (over $100), but they're well worth it.
