Injured raven asks humans for help

Ravens really are crazy smart

Last month, a young raven showed up at a Nova Scotia farm with three porcupine quills stuck in its face. The bird sat on a fence post cawing for over an hour, visibly in distress. Property owner Gertie Cleary donned a sturdy pair of gloves and was able to not only approach the wild bird, but pluck the quills from its face.

Raven Rescue (Crow)

Wildlife experts have said that the raven would not have survived without Cleary's assistance. Clever raven, and what a kind woman!
