The continent of Africa contains many countries, each with their own traditions and cultures and, best of all for the hungry individual, their own foods. The next time you’re planning a dinner date, try hunting down one of the city’s best. For a nice mix of several regional dishes, try Bolat African Cuisine. Though the owners are from Nigeria, they offer up food from Ethiopia, Kenya, Senegal and other countries as well. Or stick to one of Chicago’s best Ethiopian restaurants by heading to Ethiopian Diamond. You can dine traditionally or go there on Sunday to get a taste of their buffet. And for something more casual, try Nigerian Kitchen. They even do take-out in case you’d like to get your food and eat at home in front of a movie.
