Forget the Cooking - Have a Great Thanksgiving Dinner Out

For those of us that don’t have local family to spend Thanksgiving with (or who choose to stay away from all the family drama), there are plenty of other great options in New York. So find a date and hit up one of NYC’s best Thanksgiving dinners that weren’t cooked up by your grandma.

Katz’s Delicatessen -

This place has a long and illustrious history in NYC though it was only a few years ago that you were first able to stop off here for a Thanksgiving meal. Get all the traditional fare such as turkey and pumpkin pie, or be different and order something exotic off the menu. It will cost you $75 a person though, so make sure you have your wallet ready.

Hill Country Barbecue -

If you want to go big this Thanksgiving, go to Hill Country Barbecue. They’re offering an all-you-can-eat dining experience for just $45 a person. Stuff yourselves with turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy and pumpkin pie, and then go back for some of their smoked sausage, pork ribs and lots of other Southern-styled dishes. One thing’s for certain - you won’t walk away feeling hungry.
