Anyone been outside lately? Notice how bloody cold it is in New York? Well, you wouldn’t be the first, as even tried-and-true veterans of NYC’s cold winters are noticing an unusual trend where it comes to the weather. As it turns out, an arctic snap is creating some of the coldest temperatures on record for the entire state of New York.

Daytime highs numbered around 33 degrees and, in some areas, they got as far down as the low 20s. Yup, it’s gotten really, really cold this last week. But is there hope in sight? Indeed there is, as the weather folks are predicting we’ll be back up in the 40s soon enough and will eventually climb back up to the 60s by Monday. So bundle up until then and wait for relief to come.
