Concert and Music Watch - August 23rd

Though it’s never a problem to find dozens of bands and other musical performances on any night of the week in NYC, here are a couple of highlights for this week. If one of these is up your alley, then stop by and enjoy some music and everything else the venue has to offer.

Motley Crue and Alice Cooper - Nikon - August 29th

Get your blast-to-the-past fix with a look at two classic bands to come out of the 70s and 80s. They’ve been around for decades, so they might not be around much longer. Best to grab up some tickets and see them soon, before they’re gone for good. A fun date night for older couples or younger couples that love the rock music of yesteryear.

Deep Purple - NYCB Theatre at Westbury - August 26th

Another classic band, Deep Purple is a legend from the 60s and 70s music scene. Some of the members may have changed over the years, but they’re still putting on a great performance. Check them out as they make their way through New York as part of the North American and Canadian tour.
