Though it’s never a problem to find dozens of bands and other musical performances on any night of the week in NYC, here are a couple of highlights for this week. If one of these is up your alley, then stop by and enjoy some music and everything else the venue has to offer.

NY Philharmonic Concerts in the Park - various locations - July 9^th through July 15^th

Don’t miss the chance to enjoy some great classical music for free. The New York Philharmonic puts on shows at various locations, each night a different spot. Check the calendar and see if something is happening near you.

River Rocks - Hudson RiverPark - July 10^th and 24^th, and August 7^th

Another chance to see some free music, River Rocks is back for its yearly run. Stop by one or more of the days and see a variety of talented indie bands.

4Knots Music Festival - South Street Seaport - July 12^th

For one day, you can enjoy free music performances spread out across two stages. The line-up consists of talented bands you may have heard of along with some up-and-coming unknowns.
