NYC Event Watch - June 28th

There’s way too much going on in NYC to know every little festival and event that wanders through. And thanks to me, you don’t have to! Here are a few upcoming and ongoing events that might be right up your alley.

Pride Week - Through June 29th

Pride Week is winding up this Sunday, so if you haven’t had a chance to take part in the festivities, now is the time. The Pride March will take place all day and if you’ve never seen this parade before, you’ll definitely want to stop by.

New York Asian Film Festival - Walter Reade Theatre - Through July 14th

For more than two weeks you can check out some of the most famous names in Asian cinema as they bring their works of art to NYC. You’ll even get a chance to meet some of the directors and stars of the shows. Movie lovers should not miss this opportunity.

International African Arts Festival - Commodore Barry Park - July 3rd to July 6th

Take a walk through all-things African-American with this amazing collection of arts, crafts, music and more. For more than 40 years this event has been a mainstay of Brooklyn and it’s a great way to spend a day or two.
