Don’t Forget to Check Out the Fireworks This July 4th

The fourth of July is coming and that means fireworks. But where in New York is the best place to see a great display of colorful explosions aside from Macy’s? Here are a couple you might want to consider before you make your final choice:

Coney Island - They already put on displays every Friday, and since the 4th falls on a Friday this year, it should be extra special. The festivities begin at 9:30pm, though you might want to consider showing up early if you want a good spot.

Pier 26 - Finish Pride Week on the Hudson River by taking a trip to Pier 26 and watching their amazing fireworks show. And if you show up early, you can enjoy live music from some of the city’s most talented DJs.

Co-Op City - If one day of fireworks isn’t enough for you, take a trip to Co-OpCity on July 3rd to see their presentation. It starts up around 9pm.
