Some People Just Suck - Metropolitan Opera Artworks Vandalized

It is a tragic day in the history of New York, as someone took it upon themselves to break into the Metropolitan Opera and vandalize several works of art in the music hall. The defacement in question consisted of curse words and other profanities that were marked across several statues and paintings, one of which was worth upwards of $50,000.

So just who in their right mind would do such a thing? Well, no one in their right mind, obviously, but police are thinking that the culprit might be a former employee of the Met. There’s nobody in particular they’re looking for, but since there were no signs of a forced entry, that seems to be the best bet. Personally, I think they should find the one responsible, string them up in Times Square and then let their fellow New Yorkers decorate them with profanities. But then maybe I’m overreacting a bit?
