NYC Subway Celebrating 110th Birthday

What does New York do when its subway system turns 110-years-old? Why, we give it a party, of course. For a few hours, early on Saturday, people could purchase tickets to the party and attend at the New York CityTransitMuseum. They were allowed to ride on some of the vintage cars from one station to the next, which must have been pretty cool.

Unfortunately, they aren’t celebrating by actually bringing back the vintage cars for people to ride in. Something to do with efficiency and people getting to work on time and all that. Oh well, at least the subway is still faster than trying to wade through NYC street traffic.
