Getting away from home can be a great way to spend time with the one you love. Whether you want to spend quiet time in nature or just like the idea of some different scenery, there are plenty of weekend getaway spots near the city of Dallas. One thing to do is to just make the short drive to Fort Worth. It isn’t Dallas anymore and you can make a mini-vacation of it by renting a nice hotel room and exploring the city’s historic districts.
