Community Beer Company is an award-winning brewery that opens its taproom three nights a week. Pick up a couple of tickets, take a tour, sample some brews and enjoy some live music. Sometimes the hot weather can bring you down. And that’s the perfect time to grab your special someone and seek out a nice, wet place to spend a day or two. Burger’s Lake in nearby Fort Worth is one such place and it’s just a short ride from Dallas. Or head to WhiteRockLake to take a stroll on the trails or head out onto the water in a kayak. When you feel like combining the time you spend with your loved one with a little exercise, look into something active. Dallas has plenty to do that will satisfy the healthy of mind. Getting away from home can be a great way to spend time with the one you love. Whether you want to spend quiet time in nature or just like the idea of some different scenery, there are plenty of weekend getaway spots near the city of Dallas. One thing to do is to just make the short drive to Fort Worth. It isn’t Dallas anymore and you can make a mini-vacation of it by renting a nice hotel room and exploring the city’s historic districts.

Spend a Unique Date in the City of Chicago

Sometimes the best thing to do when it comes to date night is to find something that you wouldn’t normally do. You and your special someone can have lots of fun by taking in some of the unique attractions and activities that Dallas has to offer. Try checking out the Dallas Museum of Art on the third Friday of the month for a very different museum experience, complete with various performances, drinks and food. Or wander around the city by taking a ride on the McKinney Ave trolley. It’s free and there are plenty of other things to do along the way.

The next time you’re looking for a great date idea, consider playing the part of the tourist and exploring the many wonderful historic and tourist sites in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. There is plenty to see, so no matter what the tastes of you and your date you’ll likely find more than enough places to visit. Sports fans should consider checking out Ameriquest Field just a little ways west of Dallas. It’s an amazing ballpark and they give tours during the off-time. You can even visit the Legends of Baseball Museum while there.

Have a Lively Date at a Dallas Festival

Great festivals are perfect opportunities to get out with someone special and have a little bit of fun while getting to know them better. Luckily, Dallas nearly always has something going on that fits the bill. The month of February brings such entertaining events as the Chinese Lantern Festival in FairPark and the North Texas Irish Festival, for fans of Irish culture, music and dance. There are also plenty of Valentine’s Day, chocolate-themed tours around the city for lovers of sweets.
