Mayors of LA and NYC Make Hilarious Bet on Stanley Cup

It’s always nice to know that the politicians who run the bits and pieces of this country are actually human. So when the mayors of both New York and Los Angeles decided to make a bet on the outcome of the Stanley Cup, it was entertaining. What’s even better is that their local pride goes so far that they’re willing to humiliate themselves on Jimmy Kimmel Live if they lose.

The terms of the bet? The loser has to sing a song of their rival’s city - ‘New York, New York’ for LA Mayor Eric Garcetti or ‘I Love L.A.’ for Bill de Blasio. Oh yeah, and the loser also has to supply the entire Kimmel audience with hot dogs on the fateful night. One thing’s for sure - someone is going to have a lot of explaining to do the next time they stand up in front of their voters.
