When you’re looking for something to do on that day you get to spend some time with your someone special, consider taking a trip to one of New York’s many local theme parks. You may have to travel out of the city a little ways to find something you like, but the fun you have will make the trip worth it. Adventureland is just a short ways east of the city and is a classic amusement park filled with all sorts of great rides and attractions. Or head to Brooklyn to get a taste of Big Mark’s ActionPark or LunaPark. Or if you have the time, take the trip south to visit Six Flags Great Adventure, a massive collection of thrilling roller coasters mixed with a wildlife park.
