Nothing is as classic as the dinner and movie date, but finding the right movie is important to making sure that special someone isn’t bored to tears or running in fear. To help you out, I present the best of this week’s releases, so you can plan ahead.

Tomorrowland – Disney brings one of its most popular theme park zones to life with a movie staring George Clooney. When a girl discovers a special badge that opens up an alternate dimension, one that is futuristic and strange, she goes in search of answers and ends up involved in a mission to save the world. For big effects and a fantastical world, this is the one to see this week.

Poltergeist – Once again, Hollywood has taken a classic movie and rebooted it for the sake of making some more money. This time around it’s Poltergeist, a horror story that pits a family against the malevolent spirits who steal their daughter. If you’re interested in seeing what the new incarnation looks like, give it a try.
