According to recent studies, where you live is a large determining factor in whether or not you’re going to have to listen to your neighbors having sex. Yes, there are certain people in certain neighborhoods that seem to enjoy sex a bit more than others. So which region of NYC is the loudest? Brooklyn.

Loud sex complaints (yes, people complain about others having sex) amounted to 42 in KingsCounty, with Queens close behind with 37 complaints. But if you head on over to Staten Island, there are no complaints. So either people there are a lot more reserved in the sexual activity, or their neighbors are more prone to applaud and congratulate them as opposed to calling the police. My advice to New York – chill out. If loud sex is driving you crazy, then you probably need to have some loud sex of your own and get over it.
