When the ideas have gone dry and you juts can’t think of anything to do for a date night except “the usual”, it’s time to rattle the brain and find something different and unique. San Francisco and all its wonders are just a stone’s throw away, but there are plenty of things you can do without making the drive from San Jose. Put aside the usual restaurant and bar routine and try a game or two at the local bowling alley. Head up to Mount Hamilton and the Lick Observatory to spend an evening looking up at the stars. And there’s always the Winchester Mystery House tour, something that every San Jose resident should check out at least once in their lives.
