The month of April is a great time to be in Austin if you’re a music lover. There are a couple of excellent festivals rolling through that make perfect date destinations. Whether you’re into the hip and modern or prefer something a bit old-timey, there is an event ready for you.

Euphoria - Carson Creek Ranch - April 10^th, 11^th & 12^th

For those that like to immerse themselves in the festival experience, Euphoria is a classic music + camping event where you can spend an entire weekend away from your troubles and responsibilities. Listen to amazing electronic sounds, dance the day and night away and meet more new people than you’ll ever be able to remember.

Old Settler’s Music Festival - Driftwood, TX - April 16^th through April 19^th

It’s a celebration of roots music and Americana that has been going on for nearly 30 years with each year getting bigger and bigger. For four days, you’ll be bombarded with music, day and night. There are also workshops to sit in on, musician meet-ups, food, drink, arts and crafts and plenty of good people.
