Take a Trip to the LA Theater

Los Angeles is known for its many and varied forms of entertainment. Pretty much anything can be found in our city, though sometimes it’s nice to just stick to the classics, such as a night out at the theater. Here are two productions opening during the coming weeks.

The Out Crowd: Tales of High School - Santa Monica Playhouse - April 24th & 25th

This insightful production uses several one-act plays to explore the many worlds of life during high school. See the many problems that kids have to deal with these days and know that the money you spend here will all go to helping My Friend’s Place, a charity that focuses on helping homeless kids in LA.

Thieves - Monroe Forum Theatre - Through April 4th

When the matriarch of a family dies, the rest of the relatives come together to honor her. Or rather they come together to try and get whatever they can out of her will. This production explores family relations and the power of the past to influence us in a deep and insightful way.
