Located in the southern region of New York, couples looking to get away from it all for a while should consider taking a trip to the other side of the states and visiting the Catskill Mountains.  This lush wilderness of forests and rugged terrain is an amazing place to spend a few days.  Whether you want to camp out under the stars or prefer to stay at a hotel and just journey into the mountains during the day, it’s easy to find what you need.  Explore the many small towns while there, climb a few mountains or get some skiing time in during the winter.  As one of the country’s most beautiful areas, it’s an excellent place for romance.  Has anyone visited the Catskills before?  Is there anywhere you would recommend staying while there?
