I've been trawling b-ref for years and have to find a way to create custom tables...is this a paid subscription or something?
Is there a job of collecting interestingly-sorted tables from the sports-reference.com family of sites? Like people putting together playlists on Spotify?

So here's what you do:
1. Find the table you want at baseball-reference.com or related site
2. Sort by the column you wish to sort by -- click once on the heading to sort high-low and click twice to sort low-high
3. There is a box to unclick if you want to include non-qualifiers (3.1 PAs per game played) Dae-ho Lee is a nonqualifier at the moment, for example. But to get him you'll also get a lot of pitchers and such
4. Click on the word "SHARE" at the top of the table -- a yellow box with "sharing tools" should show up
5. Use the "Xs" in red circles or arrows to eliminate rows and columns you don't want -- like everyone lower than top 10 (if you mess up, reload the page and start over)
6. Once you have the table you want, click on "html <table>" and a box should pop up with your html code -- select all "ctrl-A" and copy "ctnl-C"
7. Then back at SSI, you need to click on "Disable rich-text" below the post or comment box -- then paste "ctrl-V" the html code where you want it
8. I find it useful to type something usually "***" before pasting so that I can find where to paste on the page of raw code, and where to come back to once I re-enable the rich text (since it will take you back to the beginning of the post or comment.
It's really not so hard. Hope that helps.

Then you delete the columns and rows you don't want.
...where did you find a table showing draft picks and the WAR they'd earned? I haven't found anything like that.
Click on WAR at top of column to sort. But can only sort one round at a time.
Despite his bust-ness you can see here that only 4 guys drafted in Round 1 after Ackley have more WAR -- so far. Paxton will probably pass him soon enough. Have to click ahead to Round 3 to find out that Seager has more WAR than anyone drafted in 1-3 except Trout.

You could export into Excel and then paste them together into one spreadsheet, but can't do it right on the webpage.
Don't know why I never noticed that draft tab before. ..I'm gonna have fun playing with that sucker...lol
