How well do you know Nick Holowko? He wears the #39 for the Seattle Thunderbirds. Holowko is a left wing and shoots left in the rink. He stands at 6’.5 and he weighs 186 pounds. Holowko was born in Burnaby, British Columbia on June 26, 1997. His youth league team was the Burnaby Winter Club.

Some of his career statistics include the 74 games he has played, six goals and six assists he has made, and the 12 points he has accumulated while playing with the T-Birds during regular season. Of these games, Holowko played 63 during the 2014 to 2015 regular season, during which he scored five goals and made four assists. In the same year, in the PaJHL, Holowko played for North Delta in a total of 33 games. During this experience, he scored two goals and made nine assists, collecting 11 points in all. He had 54 PIM.

His total PIM is 31 during the regular season,   with 25 occurring during the 2014 to 2015 season and the remaining six in the current season. In the 2015 to 2016 season, he has scored one goal and made two assists so far. In the 2015 playoffs, Holowko played in six games, but he did not score any goals or make any assists.

Some of Holowko’s honors and awards include the BWC PeeWee A1-T1 QC Int PW AA Elite Silver Medal in the 2009 to 2010 season, being a part of the BWC Bantam A1-T1 BC Champions in the 2011 to 2012 season, and the BWC Bantam A1-T1 WCBAAA Champions in the 2011 to 2012 season. His first goal in the WHL was on October 13, 2014 against Portland.

Some of Holowko’s notable moments on the ice have been captured in fight videos online. Fans can witness his fight with Kirk Bear of the Prince George Cougars on January 30, 2015. While Bear was cited for interference, Holowko was given penalties as the instigator as well as a misconduct penalty. A fight on November 21, 2014 with Jackson Playfair of the Spokane Chiefs is also available for viewing online—the same game during which Jacob Cardiff and Turner Ottenbreit went at it during the game. Fans can also check out the fight between Holowko and Keoni Texeira of the Portland Winterhawks, which occurred on September 19, 2014 during the same game that Kevin Wolf fought Travis McEvoy and Kaden Elder took on Jack Flaman.
