The Festivals of Miami

Spice up your dating experience by bringing your special someone along with you on a journey to one of Miami’s many strange and wonderful festivals. There are few things more entertaining than these lively events, and Miami has plenty to choose from. Fans of the visual arts might want to check out the Miami International Film Festival during early March. Take part in one of the largest county fairs in the country by attending the Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition during March and April.

Tasty Treats: Copycat recipes galore

Do you like to find copycat recipes online for all of the foods that you enjoy at chain restaurants like Red Lobster, Cracker Barrel, Olive Garden and other popular places? He tweaked the Old Charley’s and 54th Street recipes until he came up with something smoother, spicier and perfect for our tastes. If you’d like to find a boatload of such recipes, visit All Free Copycat Recipes to find the perfect one for you.

Is the world ready for a paywalled food website?

Paywall sites have never worked out as well as their makers intended. Wood Sprite and I did this with crafts and books but we forgot about the treats! Reading Confetti has 5 cute penguin snacks you can make out of chocolate, bananas and much more. Making and eating these would definitely fill up a portion of an indoor afternoon.

Take Action Thursday: Stop honor killings

It’s been months since I’ve offered a take action day. Normally I do these on Tuesdays, but the recipes (Tasty Tuesdays) seem to be much more popular so I started doing those more often instead. Today, however, I saw a few petitions going around that I really wanted to share. Let me know if you like Take Action days and I’ll incorporate them more often.
