Gunna try and generate convo for this blowout today.. Think #Seattle should have taken fg points. Needed to get on board and turn the tide a but.. Thoughts?...

The #Seattle Thunderbirds should be proud of Barzal. He has been showing great promise.

Reply - gnomie - 1/16/16 5:32am

He is fantastic. Looking forward to seeing him in the NHL someday.

The #Seattle Thunderbirds are dealing again. They just acquired left wing Garan Magnes from the #Edmonton Oil Kings for a seventh round selection in the 2017 Bantam Draft.

Reply - mickiholley - 1/11/16 4:43pm

I have not followed Magnes closely so it will be interesting to see what he can do.

The #Seattle Thunderbirds also acquired defenseman Bryan Allbee from the Kootenay Ice for a fifth round pick in the 2017 Bantam Draft.

Reply - gnomie - 1/9/16 9:51pm

I saw that! He looks pretty strong.

Reply - crackerjack - 1/9/16 10:33pm

Allbee seems promising.

The #Seattle Thunderbirds have been busy. They acquired goalie Landon Bow from the Swift Current Broncos for goalie Taz Burman, right wing Jamal Watson and a conditional second round pick in a future Bantam Draft.

Reply - gnomie - 1/9/16 9:51pm

Bow is already playing strong.

Reply - crackerjack - 1/9/16 10:34pm

That's what I was just saying. Bummer to see some guys go but the newbies are pretty good.

Tony Dungy thinks #Seattle should be most geared in the NFC right now.. Hard not to agree, but many solid teams. AFC seems to have 0 chance at championship

Reply - MtGrizzly - 1/4/16 7:07pm

The Patriots, Broncos and Steelers might have something to say about that.

Reply - anonymous - 1/9/16 6:43pm

I'm.sure they do, just seem to be more up and down recently compared to NFC teams like car, ari, sea

#Seattle Thunderbirds' left winger Ryan Gropp has signed a three-year entry level contract with the #New_York Rangers. Gropp was drafted by the Rangers in the 2015 draft, 2nd round 41st overall. Great job Ryan! He will be an exciting young player to watch.

Reply - InsideTheBoards - 1/3/16 2:16pm

Gropp is an interesting player to watch. I'm not sure he will be exactly what the Rangers are hoping but he may be good trade bait in a year or so.

The #Portland Winterhawks defeated the #Seattle Thunderbirds 4-1 at the annual New Year’s Eve game between the two teams. The game was played in #Portland this year.

Reply - InsideTheBoards - 1/3/16 2:17pm

Even though the T-Birds lost 4-1 it was still an exciting game to see.

The Tri-City Americans had a 4-2 win over the #Seattle Thunderbirds on Jan 2nd. Parker Bowles scored 2 goals for the Americans.

Reply - InsideTheBoards - 1/3/16 2:18pm

Bowles needed more coverage but even then the T-Birds were simply outplayed by the Americans.

Reply - mickiholley - 1/3/16 6:49pm

hopefully the Birds are not slumping again. They have had their ups and downs this season for sure.

#Seattle suddenly looking great last few games, #Arizona vs them for championship I'd say. Would be great battle

Reply - MtGrizzly - 1/4/16 7:07pm

If Seattle beats the Vikings, they play AZ in the second round.
