City of Detroit Recruiting Residents from NYC

So what do you do when your city needs more people in it to replace all the people that have left? Recruit from a bigger city, of course! This is exactly what Detroit is doing right now with a new series of billboard ads in New York. It’s one of the world’s strangest ad campaigns and it’s selling… well, nothing really.

Man Rampages through Subway Car with Large Black Dildo

And now for your “WTF NYC?!” news of the week - a man was seen running around a subway car waving a large black dildo at the other passengers. Nobody seems to know why this occurred or what the man’s plans were, but many are reasonably sure he was under the influence of some sort of drug(s). He was laughing and having a great time and, truth be told, some of the other passengers thought it was pretty hilarious as well.

Spider-Man Sues NYC

The costumed folks in New York City’s Times Square have gained a reputation for being a little unruly at times. In one particular case, the guy that dresses up as Spider-Man had a scuffle with the cops. The story is that the cops asked him for his ID and he refused to give it to them so the two sides began to exchange blows. In the end, Spider-Man was charged with several things though he managed to beat them all.
