<p>Wouldn't mind if they tried to get Sam Travis and Sandy #Leon from the Sawx. Both are hitting well in winter action, and both are buried on #Boston's depth charts - Travis behind Hanley Ramirez, last year's starter Travis Shaw, and Allen Craig; #Leon is behind Swihart, Hanigan, and Christian Vasquez. Both would move up a spot on the Ms depth chart. #Leon is highly rated for defense, but has had his hitting troubles in brief MLB looks with the Nats and Sawx. Might be worth having to backup Zunino/Ianetta in case of injury.

<p>It was going to be difficult (near impossible) to find a great defensive CF who can also really hit the ball without paying a ton. If Dipoto brings in another corner OF with a solid bat this move will feel a ton better. With the current hype for JBJ from #Boston, Martin actually compares fairly well. Martin is 2 years older at 27 and has 2 years less control but came much cheaper than the supposed player cost for JBJ. Their MLB slash lines aren't pretty.<br />

<p>Count me as not really high on Bradley's bat. If the Sox are selling him, then they are worried, too. The question is whether his 19 homers between Pawtucket and #Boston last year were a mirage or a real power surge. He had never hit more than 10 in a single season. He can go get the ball, for sure. <p>I've been kinda wondering if the guys Dipoto is interviewing are also giving him a look at how other teams see the Ms, particularly for trades. #Boston and #Tampa Bay, besides having interesting candidates, also are teams that might deal with the Ms. Conspiracy theory? If Dipoto is really pretty much settled on Bogar, with Servais a dark horse, wouldn't interviewing some of the best and brightest from other clubs be a valid intel method?</p>
