Skyrim paid mods plan canceled
Steam's plan to allow creators to post video game mods for sale ended almost as soon as it began. This brief but instructive disaster has left a chain of questions in its wake, and the arguments are far from over.
Steam's overall intention was good: allow independent developers a way to earn money from their work, if they wanted to. No one was forcing modders to charge money, nor forcing fans to pay money for the mods. But the implementation left something to be desired, and the licensing issues proved burdensome to say the least.

Funnily enough the Jerker has a bit of a cult following. It's not for #Sale anymore. #Erika_B #Single

Dedicated Destiny player resorts to playing at Taco Bueno for exotic weapon
Every weekend, the in-game Destiny vendor Xur offers different equipment for sale. If you want it, you have to snap it up immediately, because Xur may never offer it again.
Such was the case last weekend, when a player who goes by LAN Fiesta was only one Strange Coin away from buying the exotic weapon of his dreams, a pistol called The Last Word, when his power went out.
