A lot of people claim that something needs to be done to help the population of homeless kids living on the streets of New York, but with most people their level of commitment ends with words. One group of Broadway artists, however, took it to the next level and actually camped out on the street in order to help raise awareness of the problem.

Whales Plaguing New York Harbor!

Normally one doesn’t associate a large whale migration with New York City. They come by every year, but this year seems to be the year that all the whales decided to take a New York vacation. Needless to say, tourists and locals alike are pleased. Those fancy science types think that fishing restrictions and the resulting increase in fish populations are the reason the whales are hanging out. Either way, some whale-watching companies are going to be very happy once they look at their paychecks this month. So jump onboard while you can, New Yorkers.
