Here’s a free set of 17 homeschooling pages, including a sample letter of intent, daily schedule, lesson planning sheets, schedule sheets and more. Most of these wouldn’t work in my house, but you may find them useful.
Grab a free Book of Centuries from Simply Charlotte Mason. Here are some free Napoleon notebooking pages from Bright Ideas Press, too. I haven’t used either of these so I am not familiar with them—but I wanted to pass them along in case anyone can use them.
Memorial Day may be the three-day weekend most people associate with summer and barbecues, but others of us are, shall we say, a little more indoors-y? For the bookish, a three day weekend is a great chance to get caught up on some of that giant stack of "to read" books.

For some, when the Charlotte Hornets kept their name and moved to New Orleans, it was a bit tragic. It’s hard enough to see your team switch cities, let alone to keep the name. Even though Charlotte did end up getting a new team in the Bobcats (who are horrible, even with MJ helping out), the New Orleans Hornets have seemed a little out of place.
If you are a Cleveland fan and you're still complaining about Lebron leaving, you need to put on your big kid pants and get over it. Now, if you are a Cavs fan and complaining about your big man Andy Varejao having a career season and getting hurt, then that’s a different story. Unfortunately for the Cavs, along with a horrible record, things just got worse.
