I'm with you GLS! I hate that tendency in the M's. We treat #Men like little boys: And Tacoma is their room so they are sent there without their supper. Heck, we could have sent him down when we had #Wellington. I know teams send guys down all the time, but this seems like a spanking, not rehabilitation. Montero, Elias now Zunino. Man, we can call up Hicks in 3 days, anyway. Zunino has been bad, with the bat. But he's a pretty good receiver, etc. 11 days of hitting AAA pitching is going to do exactly what for him?

Avila would have been nice....when we were still in the real hunt. But he's a FA after this year so we give up something for 70 games of a BU catcher. I like Avila, however. Not right now, however. BTW< #Wellington Castillo is OPS'ing 143 in #Arizona....sigh.

We hope that Lloyd McClendon finds all comfort and peace in his bereavement leave. The Shout Box is also filled with well-wishing.
Some professions, when a disaster happens in your life they give you lots of time. Other professions, no matter what happens, you're back on the job two days later. All careers have some plusses and minuses, and you take the good with the bad. But I'm sorry that McClendon can't spend some more time away from pressure.

Wow, #Wellington Castillo has been a real beast for #Arizona. Sporting an .874 OPS in 74 PAs. That trade doesn't look so good right now.

Here's what I received in the mail just yesterday. It seems the M's VIPs prefer form letters. I don't think the secretary made the proper modifications:
