Speaking of #Merida, archery is one of my daughter's projects for 4-H.

And I saw that they're going to have #Merida on there from the Brave movie.

Scientists have recently discovered a new mammalian species in South America. Called the olinguito, it is related to the olingo. In fact, an olinguito has been on display at the Smithsonian for many years, hiding “in plain sight” before scientists realized that it is a smaller (and dare I say cuter?) species than the olingo. They are calling it a cross between a teddy bear and a cat, and that sounds pretty accurate to me, with maybe a bit of Ewok thrown in.
Okay, let me begin by saying that I would much rather have the cool witch, the tree scene in the woods, or even a better castle than the flowery castle-thing the creators made with this set. Let me also say that we could do without the Lego Friend-ified Merida; whatever happened to the old Lego faces? Merida doesn’t even wear eye makeup.
I know some homeschoolers who do not identify as feminists, and some who even abhor the idea of feminism for one reason or another. Many of them, however, are strongly feminist, including yours truly, even though we are stay-at-home moms. Some of us work and some don’t, and like the author of this piece at Blue Milk, I think that feminists everywhere need to make peace with the fact that some moms WANT to stay at home and raise their families.
All apologies to our soccer-native SSI readers :- ) but my wife and son, finally exasperated with my Arsenal addiction, decided 'if you can't beat 'em, join em' and asked for a primer.
