Philip Seymour Hoffman: Dead at 46

I'm sure by now you've heard the news, my fellow movie lovers: Actor Philip Seymour Hoffman has died. At last check, reports indicated that Hoffman died of a possible drug overdose. He was found in his apartment in New York's West Village. And of course, in coming days, we'll here more and more details about Hoffman's passing. It's tragic.

Review: The White Queen ‘In Love With The King’

So I heard a few good things about the UK series, The White Queen and decided that I would, since there’s little else on television right now worth watching, give it a review.  After viewing the first episode, I’m not sure how far I’m going to get with this one, but I will put in every effort to finish the 10 episode run.  While the premise is interesting - the ascension of England’s Edward IV during the late 15th century - the result is shaping up to be more of an historically based soap opera.
