It seems like you're saying "other teams draft good players, the Mariners don't"...where were you when, less than a YEAR ago, the entire Mariner blogosphere was convinced that we were stacked at all levels of the minors? Seriously...I'm not asking to be ironic or as an accusation...if it's so easy to spot the hordes of super#Men evidently available in the draft...why weren't you advocating for some of those #Men we shoudl have had but didn't? In 2009, Zduriencik drafted Ackley...and EVERYONE thought that was the right move. Then he drafted Seager in a later round. In 2010 we didn't get a good pick, but grabbed Taijuan Walker late in the 1st. In 2011, we erred and drafted Hultzen when we should have taken Rendon. In 2012, we took Zunino...a strapping, athletic dude if there ever was one. In 2013, we took Deej...not really an athletic type...we thought he'd be a pure hitter, and I didn't hear many people around these parts advocating for other choices. In 2014, we took #Jackson...the best athlete of that entire draft class. And in 2015, we didn't have a high draft pick. In the lower rounds we concentrated on trying to get polished guys for the most part...but you're making it sound like it's not hard in this massively deeper game to find a Carlos Correa or Kris Bryant...so...please...demonstrate which decisions the Mariners made that you objected to at the time and what you'd have done differently.
