<p>I would praise a guy too, if I was trading him? :) (kidding!) Smith also lengthened the lineup for #Colorado, #Oakland and #San_Diego.....and they all traded him. #Colorado traded him for a young RP and a young SP. One has been out of the majors since '13 and the other since '14. They were expendable types. #Oakland traded him for RP Luke Gregerson (who just had a great year with #Houston). #San_Diego traded to us him for Maurer. Clearly he's not untouchable, despite his ability to lengthen the lineup. I suppose we've not found anything more special in him than three other teams did. His value in the MLB market is Brandon Maurer-type RP's. Players who are worth Brandon Maurer's are always trade-able for the right swap.</p>
