Cycling the Amber Trail

Pedal your way from Budapest to Krakow

One of the more popular cycling routes in Eastern Europe is the path known as the AmberTrail.  Measuring in at just under 200 miles, this route takes you all the way from Budapest in Hungary to Krakow in Poland and offers a beautiful ride through some of this region’s most breathtaking scenery.  There are several tour companies available that will help you make this week-and-a-half long trip or you can just grab your bike and do it on your own.  Along the way, stop off at all the cities and villages of Slovakia, Hungary and Poland to experience the local culture.  If you and your loved one want an adventure through this amazing land, the AmberTrail is a great path to follow.  Has anyone ever been cycling through this region before?  What route did you take?
