Just a couple of hours west of Austin are the amazing Grape Creek Vineyards.  This Tuscan Villa-styled vineyard is a great place to spend a romantic weekend away, enjoying the wine and the peace and quiet of the open countryside.  The vineyards offer a variety of ways to partake of their wines, from doing a barrel tour to sitting in the tasting room or, if you want the full experience, take a complete complex tour and learn about how they make all these award-winning wines.  And if you get tired of all the wine, head into the town of Fredericksburg for some shopping or fine dining.  The only accommodation is a single villa, so reserve early to enjoy the complete privacy.  Does anyone have any sights around Fredericksburg they would recommend seeing?
