Just a little ways southeast of Los Angeles is the town of Newport Beach and on it, a beautiful beachfront accommodation known as the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort and Marina.  For couples that want a relaxing beach vacation but don’t like to stray too far from civilization, this is a great choice.  Head out into the water for some fun by renting a sailboat or a pedal boat.  Go surfing, visit the local waterpark or just relax on the beach.  The resort offers cottage rentals as well as campsites on the beach, so you can choose how much luxury you desire.  And when you’re tired of being relaxed, head into the town of Newport Beach and see all that it has to offer.  Does anyone have any favorite Newport Beach spots that they’d recommend?
