For couples that just need to get away from the constant Las Vegas heat for a while, consider taking a trip about an hour northwest of the city and visiting The Resort on MountCharleston.  This resort is nestled in the mountains and high above the desert floor, meaning the weather is a bit more tolerable.  Enjoy hiking across the region’s more than 50 miles of trails.  Take a night out and camp along the way.  Or just enjoy the beautiful views from the comfort of the resort.  If you’re there in the winter, you might want to get some skiing or snowboarding in.  Has anyone gone hiking in MountCharleston before?
