Located just west of Austin is the Westcave Preserve, a great place for couples that want to spend some time together out in nature. You can take a tour of the preserve and take in the beautiful scenery and, as a bonus, the drive out there is just as amazing as the preserve itself. There are only guided tours available though, so you can’t just go wandering around. They aim to make sure that the preserve stays preserved and that requires certain rules. And though the tour is fairly short, the Westcave Preserve is just a short hop from LakeTravis and a ton of other fun activities. Has anyone had the chance to tour the preserve before? Any things that caught your eye?
