One can always visit a park in the middle of the city, but sometimes getting away is just as important as finding a nice place to relax.  For couples that enjoy a quiet atmosphere but wish to be close to modern conveniences, AustinGardens is a great choice.  Located about a half-hour west of Chicago and in the town of Oak Park, Austin Gardens is a little over three-and-a-half acres of nature trails, picnic spots, open spaces, trees and more.  If you get tired of relaxing, it’s easy to stroll back into the city and check out the historic buildings, fine dining and numerous shops.  Has anyone ever spent some time in Oak Park before?  How’s the atmosphere there?
