Just outside of Austin there lies one of the region’s greatest unknown treasures, St. Edward’s Park Trail. Located in Travis, this can be a great place to spend a little time with your loved one. Being as how most of Austin doesn’t seem to know it exists, it is rarely crowded, a nice and isolated romantic spot for hiking, walking the trails and enjoying the magnificent views. The park is, however, park nature reserve, so if you wander south of the Bull Creek border, be aware that some different regulations apply.
